Self-care Sunday 28th February is all about Connection
Self-care sundays are monthly wellbeing events curated to lift the soul, calm the mind and warm the heart.
A full day of self-care activities including guided and invigorated yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance, mindfulness and sound healing.
These events not only support your mental health through your participation, they also support the mental health needs of vulnerable people through your ticket purchases.
Flip Your Dog For Mental Health run these events to raise funds for UK mental health charity Mind. They work with Mind to deliver to community wellbeing projects to support people in need.
Proceeds from Self-care Sunday 28th Feb will go to Mind Charity. I will be attending the event and hosting a Breathwork, Mediation & Mindfulness session.

My Breath work, Meditation and mindfulness session class description
Our emotions, thoughts and feelings are whirling around in our minds trying to find their place and purpose. Our bodies are a reflection of our minds.
Charlie's session will help to bring some awareness to this mind-body connection.
You will be introduced to mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques and how they can be applied to our daily lives to build mental health resilience. You will be guided through these techniques, including some theory and science behind the practices, resulting in a relaxed and clearer state of mind.
We will begin with a mindfulness practice and a breathing technique to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system (calming energy). You will then be guided through a connection meditation, transitioning into a body scan, and closing with a deep breathing practice.
All levels are welcome.
