Principles and guidelines

Principles:

  • Accountability – you are accountable for how you are and how you be

  • Confidentiality – everything we share is kept in the Sangha

  • Kindness – our community always operates from an intention of kindness

Guidelines:

  • Pass any time – only share and participate with what you are comfortable with.  Stretch not twang.

  • Be aware – always strive to raise your awareness & be curious

  • No right or wrong – everyone’s opinion and view is honoured.  This is not about right or wrong but about acceptance

  • Show up – be who you are right now

The Session:

Breathing Exercise = Belly breathing. Deep breath through the nose, out through mouth, guiding the breath down into the belly.

Core of Session =

  • Neuroscience behind practicing gratitude and being in the present moment. The positive and long lasting effects to the neural pathways in the brain

  • Guided through a centering technique by Tracy

  • Gratitude exercise 5:1

Movement Practice = Heart opening yoga poses

Closing ritual = A Song
